A recent ESPN.com article titled, “Executive Order Aims to Limit NCAA Athletes to 5 years, 1 Transfer" got my ire up and led to this rant.

Ep. 341 - The Truth About States' Rights
Aug 2, 2025
Aug 2, 2025
16 min
The idea of states rights is rarely discussed in mainstream circles. In fact, it is shrouded in ignorance and, like anything (or anyone) who threatens the status quo, it is ruthlessly attacked and maligned.
When the idea does comes up, what we usually get are ill-informed references to the “Civil War” and ignorant barks about racism and secession!
Let this episode be a warning! Without states stepping up and vigorously defending their rights as defined in the Constitution against their agent - the federal government - the very survival of the United States is in jeopardy as the federal status quo hammers the accelerator toward the national suicide cliff.

What would you say if a football referee refused to call a holding penalty on an offensive lineman because he determined that the quarterback has a "right to protection?"
What if another referee, in a different game, decided that, based on this new "right to protection," quarterbacks can no longer be tackled?
In this episode, I apply this analogy to the Supreme Court while dispelling several myths about this institution.

With the recent bombing by the United States of Iran's nuclear facilities, there is renewed interest in presidential war powers.
The Founding Fathers were clear: Presidents do NOT have the power to engage in offensive military engagements without the consent of Congress.
This is a foreign concept to modern Americans as Presidents have ordered hundreds, if not thousands, of military strikes over the past 200 years without conferring with Congress.
In this episode, we examine what the Constitution says about war and what the word "war" meant to the founding generation. We also review how the first four Presidents handled war and, finally, we examine the redundant and unconstitutional War Powers Act of 1973.

I never want to waste an opportunity to use a current event to teach the Constitution.
The recent arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge, Hannah Dugan, offers the opportunity to discuss two important constitutional doctrines: anti-commandeering and the Supremacy Clause.
Additionally, it provides us with the opportunity to examine what the Constitution says about federal involvement in immigration. You may be surprised!

Imagine having a conversation today with some of the Founding Fathers. How do you think they would react to the current state of the federal government?
In this episode, I attempt to examine this sleazy, corrupt, behemoth institution through the eyes of Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

QUICK RANT About What is NOT in the Constitution

What percentage of federal agencies, programs and initiatives do you think could pass a constitutionality test? Meaning: the agencies could only use the Constitution to corroborate their existence?
That's the question we examine in this quick rant episode.

Ep. 308 - The Truth About Free Speech in America
Oct 12, 2024
Oct 12, 2024
23 min
In this episode we cover recent proclamations for the end of free speech by prominent members of the doomsday cult, formerly known as the Democratic Party.
This is followed by a laundry list of types of speech that are protected by the First Amendment (at least in America).
Finally, we briefly examine the historical record when it comes to violations of free speech; from John Adams and Abe Lincoln to Woodrow Wilson and Oliver Wendell Holmes; finally coming to rest in modern-day America with one of the major political parties running, what can only be described as, a censorship industrial complex.

If you are concerned about the out-of-control administrative state whereby unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats working for unconstitutional federal agencies dictate regulations to 350 million people with virtually no oversight, then you should care about the Supreme Court's recent issuance of a majority opinion striking down the four-decade-old precedent known as Chevron deference.
