Ep. 173 - The Truth About October 2021 - Let‘s Go Brandon!

The primary theme of October 2021 was LET'S GO BRANDON which is a reaction to the national Democrats' and Biden's continued push to destroy the country.
Economically - They continued to push inflationary economic policies and encourage the ongoing supply chain disruption. Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen are despicable and willfully negligent.
Covid - It's one lie after another - Gain of function, the spread of the virus, the boosters, children's vaccine, vaccine related deaths and adverse effects, therapeutic treatments, and natural immunity. To name a few.
Constitutionally - They ignore and spit on the Constitution as a matter of course but their legislative proposal to grant the IRS access to our bank accounts and the vaccine mandates top the list for October.
Politically - The dual justice system was alive and well. Open borders (i.e. the Democrats' voter drive) continued as did the projection of weakness to geopolitical foes.
Culturally - They continued their destructive divide-and-conquer electoral strategy with one set of rules for illegal immigrants and one for legal citizens.

Ep. 169 - The Truth About the Facebook Whistleblower

A so-called whistleblower recently came forward to out her employer, Facebook, for its destructive influence over its users. This story dominated the news cycle for the better part of a week.
There is one problem with the media coverage of this situation; it's a big con job aimed at giving the totalitarians, who currently run our national government (i.e. the national Democrats), more power to silence dissent!

September 2021 was another eventful month. It started with superstar podcaster Joe Rogan announcing that he beat Covid and ended with the national Democrats itching to bankrupt the country and destroy the U.S. dollar. Along the way, we had lots of Covid vaccine news, more big tech censorship, the Texas abortion law and the federal government's continued preference that people should suffer and die from Covid rather than mass distribute safe, effective, inexpensive treatments like Ivermectin and Hydrochloriquine.

Ep. 158 - The Truth About Monopolies

Typical discussions about monopolies usually revolve around Standard Oil, U.S. Steel, General Motors, AT&T, Microsoft and even Blockbuster Video. The focus tends to be on pricing and lack of consumer choice. However, when you examine modern monopolies, a disturbing realization occurs: government is the only real monopoly!
By its very nature governments are designed to be monopolies in the sense that they are the only permitted providers of certain services: law enforcement, the court system, the DMV, the IRS, etc. The disturbing part of the federal government's monopoly position is how they wield their power.
In this episode we examine the dangers of government's monopoly power through the lens of big tech censorship. The national Democrats have discovered that they can circumvent the First Amendment by bullying Big Tech to restrict speech that does not comport with their agenda.

Ep.146 - The Truth About Biden’s Gun Show Loophole Statement

Resident Biden gave a brief address in the Rose Garden in early April, 2021 regarding his Executive Orders on gun control. In that short address, he made at least six clearly false statements or outright lies.
In this episode we focus our attention on one particularly misleading statement about gun show loopholes and use it as a lesson to demonstrate how the Left manipulates their voters and the media through the use of language.
It's the perfect storm! A voter base uninterested in the truth; just searching for bias confirmation. A political party willing to lie and mislead. And a media willing to parrot the narrative.
If you control the language (and the media), you can control the narrative, which explains why the Democrats refuse to debate their policies on their merits.

Ep. 137 - The Truth About Post-Constitutional America

The Constitution served as the glue that held the United States together for over two hundred years. Unfortunately, over the last century, we have seen a steady erosion of the principles and rules of the game captured in that document. So much so that we now live in a post-constitutional country where the document is all but ignored or it is bastardized to fit the needs of the ruling class.
The sheer size of the federal government and the power it wields far exceeds anything the founding generation could ever have imagined. For those who love the country, this is a sad revelation. For those who love power, control and influence, they can claim victory.

Back in 2010 conservative talk show host Michael Savage published a book titled, “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.” Over the years as I digested, dissected and analyzed the political arena and evaluated the policy prescriptions of the Left, I often remembered the title of his book and reflected that Savage might have been on to something.
In this episode, we examine several public policy prescriptions while asking the question, "what else besides politically-induced mental illness explains why people support and endorse these policies?"
