During a recent press briefing, the White House press secretary said this with a straight face: “Federal law overrides state law.”
In this short episode I put to rest (once and for all) the lie that federal law has supremacy over state law.

In this episode I present the case against the National Democratic Party. You serve as the grand jury. You decide if the case presented justifies the imaginary indictment against them.
The charges include public perjury, willful negligence, criminal incompetency, conspiracy to destroy the union, violations of the First and Fourth Amendments, aiding and abetting tens of millions of murders via abortion, conspiracy to commit vote fraud, selective enforcement of federal law, thousands of charges of third degree manslaughter, falsification of documents, criminal intent to take down the currency and the economy, violating their oath of office, collusion with private companies to limit free speech and violation of federal discrimination laws.

As the subtitle of this episode indicates, April 2021 will be remembered as the month the corporate press could no longer hide their political agendas. In addition to two, high-profile fake news stories being officially debunked, the Hunter Biden cover-up was fully exposed, as was CNN. The mob-influenced trial of Derek Chauvin concluded. The Democrat voter drive at the southern border continued. More backtracking by our federal health officials on Covid. State nullification efforts kicked up a notch. The FBI was (yet again) exposed as corrupt. Resident Biden addressed Congress and Senator Tim Scott got the "Uncle Tim" treatment from the intolerant, racist Left-wing.

Stop beating around the bush!
The current immigration crisis at the U.S./Mexico border is nothing more than a massive voter drive for the Democratic Party. Biden set out the welcome mat and the migrants flocked to the borders.
It is an engineered event designed to push as many illegal immigrants into the country as quickly as possible in order to grant amnesty and voting rights shortly thereafter. Many migrants, including thousands of children, are abused during their journey to the border. Women and girl's are routinely raped and sexually assaulted.
The majority of Americans oppose the Democrat's immigration policies but, like all good totalitarians, they ignore the people.
In their eyes, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. If a few thousand people’s lives are ruined, incur sexual assaults, sustain a few deaths or experience a little discomfort in order to accomplish the goal of Democrat-control of the federal government, so be it. It is pure evil.

The Constitution served as the glue that held the United States together for over two hundred years. Unfortunately, over the last century, we have seen a steady erosion of the principles and rules of the game captured in that document. So much so that we now live in a post-constitutional country where the document is all but ignored or it is bastardized to fit the needs of the ruling class.
The sheer size of the federal government and the power it wields far exceeds anything the founding generation could ever have imagined. For those who love the country, this is a sad revelation. For those who love power, control and influence, they can claim victory.

In this episode we examine the American experiment through the lens of the Tenth Amendment which Thomas Jefferson called the foundation of the Constitution.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
That means, the federal government is only authorized to do those few things that have been delegated to it. It is my contention that, if the federal government was still in its tiny, little sandbox created for it by the Constitution, this country would thrive. Unfortunately the federal leviathan has not only outgrown its sandbox but has taken over the entire yard, neighborhood, state, country!
The consequences of the overreach are largely unseen yet substantial. The corruption, the failure of one-size-fits-all policies, the influence peddling - all of it acts as a restraint on the American system of free markets, entrepreneurism, freedom and liberty. Instead we allow a handful of powerful people in D.C. and the media to divide us into a series of special interest groups who fight and bicker with each other. All the while the leviathan continues to grow and grow and grow with the only end in sight being the collapse of the U.S. dollar and the U.S. economy, which come to think of it, might have been the plan all along.

The “S” word - secession - seems to be brought up with more and more frequency lately. Most recently we have seen counties in rural Virginia exploring the possibility of seceding from the state and joining West Virginia. We are seeing similar movements in Northern California and rural counties in Oregon. While those are wonderful developments, the larger question regarding secession is the idea of entire states seceding from the United States and essentially establish their own nation.
The idea of state secession picks up steam with every passing year as the federal government - the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches AND the federal bureaucracy - continues to enlarge its power base well beyond its enumerated powers in the Constitution.
In this episode, I will introduce you to the concept of secession, discuss some of the current and past secession movements and walk you through three reasons why secession is not only desirable but necessary. In Episode #88 we will discuss how secession is justified and rebut most of the arguments against it.

When you hear discussions about the Constitution and the Founding Fathers, you are likely hearing about the majority group who supported the new Constitution called the Federalists. However, there was another group of prophetic founders who opposed the Constitution as written for a variety of reasons who were equally important. They are called the Anti-Federalists. These forgotten founders warned about the inevitable growth in size, scope and power of the federal government - especially the judiciary - all at the expense of the individual states.
Evidence of their accurate predictions can be seen virtually everyday in the national news.

If you ask the average American their impression of Edward Snowden, you are likely to hear him portrayed as a villain; he is a traitor to the country and should be tried for treason. A growing minority, however, view him as a hero for exposing the illegal and unconstitutional mass surveillance program which was implemented shortly after the terrorist attack on September 11.
In this episode, we examine the Snowden saga with an eye toward what it teaches us about the Constitution.

When I evaluated the wealth tax I found that, besides the fact that they have been proven to be ineffective, ignore the laws of economics, require us to ignore the track record of the federal government and besides the fact that they are immoral and unconstitutional and their implementation would be stupid, short-cited, punitive, impractical, unnecessary, and a violation of privacy, I see no problem with them.

I came across an article about a lawsuit brought by the Freedom From Religion Foundation against an Ohio middle school over their display of the Ten Commandments, a gift from the Class of 1926. As I read through the FFRF's press release, I grew more and more confused and irritated. Among other things, they applauded "the district for taking action to remedy this violation." That word, "violation" struck my curiosity but it only took two sentences later to find out what they were referring to - the Supreme Court's propensity to find religious displays, such as the Ten Commandments, unconstitutional as violations of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
This sent me on a quest for the truth about this anti-intuitive idea of freedom "from" religion.

In the last two episodes, I introduced or re-introduced you to The Federalist Papers and discussed some of the checks and balances in the Constitution - the legislative and executive branches of government. Today we are going to discuss, as Paul Harvey used to say, “The rest of the story!” – the Judicial branch, States Rights, taxation, the military, and a brief look at the Necessary and Proper and Supremacy clauses of the Constitution.

The federal government is not supposed to be this gargantuan entity that is involved in virtually every aspect of our lives. The states created the federal government via the Constitution. They granted the federal government a few powers while all others were left to the states. Unfortunately, modern America's political system is a far cry from the Founder's vision of limited power at the federal level. Fortunately there is a method whereby the power that the federal government tries to wield can be checked. That method is called nullification.
Nullification is the practice whereby states resist federal actions that they deem unconstitutional. In this episode, I introduce you to the concept, dispel quite a few inaccurate assumptions made by mainstream news outlets and so-called historians and provide you with several examples of nullification efforts currently going on today.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Tom Woods and The Tenth Amendment Center who have written extensively on this subject.

Do you ever question the amount of time and energy spent fretting about the politics coming out of Washington D.C.? The Founding Fathers never thought that the average American would spend much time pondering the goings-on in D.C. After all, the federal government's power was constitutionally restricted. In this brief episode, I suggest an alternative to our seemingly unending focus on all things D.C.
